Tom Shelmerdine

Tom Shelmerdine joined Optimal in March 2005. His primary role at Optimal is one of investment analysis, with a focus on the Asia Pacific ex-Japan markets.

Prior to joining Optimal he was based in both Hong Kong and later in Sydney with JPMorgan Securities. During this period he held the position of Associate, responsible for origination and execution of equity capital market transactions for corporates across the Asia Pacific region.

Tom holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Economics & Finance) and Bachelor of Science (Geology) degrees from the University of Melbourne.
