Tanuj Dutt, CFA

Tanuj joined Optimal in July 2010 as an investment analyst focusing on risk management, portfolio construction and systematic investment strategies.

Prior to joining Optimal he was a quantitative research analyst covering Asia Pacific equities at Salomon Smith Barney (Citigroup). He was based in Singapore from 2000 to 2005 and in Sydney from July 2009 to May 2010. Between 2006 to 2009, he headed up the Asian equities quantitative research team at Citadel Investment Group in Hong Kong.

Tanuj holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree from the National University of Singapore and a M.Sc. (Computational Finance) degree from the Nanyang Technological University and Carnegie Mellon University, which he completed on a part time basis. He is a CFA charter holder since 2001.
