Hisashi Yatsuo
Hisashi joined Optimal in October 2004. He is an investment analyst and is based in Tokyo.
After graduating in 1990, Hisashi joined Wako Securities working in the retail business division for almost three years. As part of his training, he was assigned to their New York office where he studied for and gained his necessary broking licenses. On his return to Tokyo in 1993, he was promoted to the international business division.
In 1996, he was assigned to their London office in an institutional research sales role, where he stayed for over two years before returning to Japan to spend a further year in their domestic business division. Following this, he joined Tokyo-Mitsubishi Securities in 1999 and specialised in research sales for both domestic and international investors for the next years.
Hisashi holds a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Civil Law from Konan University. He is fluent in both Japanese and English.
