Hideo Takagi
Hideo joined DKA Asset Management in 1991 as a retail sector analyst after graduating Kwansei Gakuin University with a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Economics. Then he moved to Cazenove and Corp. as a small cap analyst, where he spent eleven years including working in the Head Office in London. He there provided a number of English reports and presentation materials of Japanese small cap companies for a broad range of international institutional investors.
In 2003, he joined KBC Securities in Tokyo and was a director of the Japanese Equity Sales Department, where he was responsible not only for investment analysis of non-specific sectors but for research-sales for institutional investors.
During fifteen years careers as an investment analyst, he conducted more than 200 company visits and telephone interviews with Japanese listed/unlisted companies a year. He often visited those companies with overseas clients, which largely helped him acquire a unique analysis angle and advanced English skill. He also organized a number of overseas roadshows for overseas investors, through which he has established close relations with top management of those companies.
He is a Chartered Member of Analyst Association of Japan.
